The Past Few Days....

We went to Mt. Rushmore on Wednesday night ad talked about legacy and stayed at a ranch in HIll City, SD. The next morning we all got up early and set out for a lantern tour of Jewel Cave! We went about 100 feet below the earth surface. Loren then had a teaching session wth the students about light and dark and when a light shines in the darkness everyone is attracted to it and darkness has no hold inthe light! After that we had an awesome night of camping and then hit the road early yesterday morning for Denver! We have graduation today at noon! Bitter sweet feeling.

Road Time Recap

We've been on the road for several days now after spending the first days in Denver doing classroom teaching.  Our first stop was Nebraska where we spent a couple difficult days facing fear, living with minimal necessities like food and shelter simulating the imternational mission field.  We then journeyed to Des Moines, IA for an overnight stop at KOA.  Then it was on to Minneapolis for urban awareness.  Now we're headed to Mt. Rushmore where we will discuss our life legacy.
God has been doing such great things in each of our lives!!!!!  He's been so faithful with His goodness, provision, power, mercy, and grace!  We were huddled together just last night in a small laundry room loving each other and our Savior with our words and tears.
Keep praying for more of Him and more of His glory in each of our lives!!

On the Road - SD

We arrived in South Dakota last night and had a powerful time of worship and praise in the laundry room!!! God was there and stirring in hearts as we encouraged and prayed for each other. During the last week and a half we have become a family. Today we hit the road early and set off for the Black Hills to see Mt. Rushmore. The 7 hour drive was taxing  on all of us but we did well nontheless. We are headed to Mt. Rushmore tonight to talk about leaving a legacy for God in the lives of all those around us. There will be a show tonight with fireworks and all the students are excited! You can see God working mightly in their lives and t's a beautiful sight to see! There will not be leaving this trip the same as they came, God's foundation is firm in them and will not be faded! 3 more days - looking forward to the future and smiling on al the memories made :) thank you for letting us borrow your children!

"Stranded" in Nebraska

Physically challenging time right now as the students are spending time in a simulated missions trip and the challenges that go along with reaching people for Christ in a foreign land.  This phase is lead by KBM speaker Caleb Bislow and his Unusual Soldiers initiative.
The students are finally starting to come together as a real team on mission for God's glory.  Amen!

16Days...we come to you Jesus.

We spent yesterday learning from Dwight Robertson about our YOUnique ministry.  We are all designed with HIS purposes in mind.  Dwight also spoke about prayer; one of two wings that help us to soar like eagles.  Finally, we were given tools for having a Date With God.  We then journeyed to Echo Lake for time alone with the Father.  Finally, we ascended to the peak of Mt Evans for some teaching from Rob Cupp about perspective.  God has been doing awesome work in our hearts and we continue to seek more of Him, more of His will, more of His glory.
